U.S. News & World Report's Best Colleges 2014 Edition has once again named NJIT to the top tier of national universities for its range of undergraduate majors and master's and doctoral degrees. The doors are open to NJIT's new $80 million Warren Street Village, a unique, three-acre, 214,000-square-foot, mixed-use residential housing complex.  Completed as forecast in less than 18 months, the complex, bounded by Colden Street to the east, Warren Street to the north and Raymond Boulevard to the southwest, will add 600 beds to NJIT's existing inventory of residential housing.  In addition, the project will feature a new restaurant, convenience store and fitness center for the NJIT community. >>

Business Insider ranked NJIT number three yesterday in its newest listing of the 25 “most underrated colleges in America.”  The news site plotted the annual ranking by U.S. News and World Report of the best colleges and universities against PayScale's mid-career salary rank to identify outliers--institutions that outperform their U.S. News rating. >>

The NJ Alliance for Action honored NJIT with its leading higher education award for spear-heading the construction of the Warren Street Village Project, a new honors residence hall, Greek houses and additional campus dining facilities scheduled to open on the NJIT campus this coming fall.     >>
